PTACs, short for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners, are ductless HVAC units specifically manufactured for commercial use applications. They are self contained units for cooling and heating installed through the wall for easy replacement with slide-in and slide-out feature.
PTACs come in many BTU capacities and voltage options as well as levels of efficiency. While PTACs are mostly used in hotels with many buildings already having the openings precut from development phase of construction, there are many more types of establishments that may use PTACs instead of central Cooling and Heating such as hospitals, senior living and condominiums.
